Job Descriptions:

Electrician: Install and maintain wiring, control, and lighting systems. Inspect electrical components, such as transformers and circuit breakers. Identify electrical problems using a variety of testing devices. Repair or replace wiring, equipment, or fixtures using hand-tools and power tools. Carry materials and tools, cut and bend wire and conduit, use tools to repair and maintain wiring, and clean work areas and equipment. Pick up goods and materials, verify loads for accuracy, and deliver them as instructed. Load and unload cargo. Responsible for basic vehicle maintenance; comply with all safe work practices, policies, and processes at all times.

Commercial Electrician: service clients' buildings as needed. Respond to repair calls and make periodic visits for inspections and preventative maintenance. The main priority is to make sure our clients' business is not interrupted by electricity problems. Also, install and repair electrical wiring and a variety of systems, using both power and hand tools to service facilities. Ideal applicant is already a journeyman electrician and has experience with conduit work.

Commercial Electrician Requirements and Qualifications

High school diploma or GED certificate

Completed electrician apprenticeship program - or - Several years of electrician experience

Strong mechanical and blueprint reading skills

CDL driver preferred but not required for consideration

Rate of pay range:

NO Experience/NO CDL:$18+

NO Experience/WITH CDL:$20+

JOURNEYMAN W/CDL: Up-to $38

JOURNEYMAN NO CDL: Up-to $34
