JOB SUMMARY:Business Analyst Entry Positionsummary: Client develops and executes the statewide IT strategy for Arizona state government and provides IT services and infrastructure to state agencies to ensure continuity of mission critical and essential systems. The Digital Government program within Client enables Arizona's governmental agencies to provide citizens, businesses, and other government entities with faster, easier, and more intuitive access to all the State's services. To meet this objective, Client offers a portfolio of accessible, reliable, and cost-effective Digital Government services designed to meet the needs of our customers, both large and small. One of these services is the Agency Platform, a Drupal-based website distribution where over 150 state websites are housed and maintained. The person hired for this role will work with the web team under the supervision of Digital Government leadership to support the ongoing growth and development of this product, in addition to supporting a number of other tools and services that make the Agency Platform possible. Minimum Requirements: Experience working within a Project Methodology framework (Agile, Scrum); knowledge and understanding of design and analysis processes; excellent written and verbal communication skills; strong analytical, planning and organization skills; ability to organize complex requirements into accurate documentation for business and functional specifications; ability to manage multiple tasks effectively and efficiently with minimal supervision; ability to quickly and effectively analyze problems and implement solutions; and work well in a collaborative team environment. Proven track record of excellence in customer service. This candidate should have skills in Google Suite (Google Drive, GMail, Google Docs, Google Sheets, etc.). Experience using a Content Management System (CMS), specifically the Drupal Content Management System, as a content manager or administrator is a plus. Familiarity with HTML, CSS, Jira, Pantheon, New Relic, or Google Analytics are a plus.Responsibilities include but are not limited to: Reporting analysis and documentation for the Digital Government team. Meet and interview agencies to support the development of business requirements, processes, and solution designs. Identify, define, and document process improvement opportunities. Consult with agency customers on policy conformance and best practices of implementing Digital Government services. Work closely with State agencies to better understand their Digital Government needs and provide appropriate recommendations and solutions when possible. Provide product analysis support for the Client Digital Government product lines, explore new product platform opportunities, and make necessary product development recommendations. Work with cross-functional teams to design web strategies. Maintain program website content on showcase.az.gov and aset.az.gov. Create training materials and conduct training classes for services and tools that support the Agency Platform program. Organize State of Arizona Drupal Meetup and schedule speakers to help push the State of Arizona Drupal knowledge base. Work closely with cross-functional teams within Client to provide Digital Government services and champion customer initiatives. Manage vendor relationships and performance. Serve as a liaison between agencies and vendors to ensure successful kick off and completion of agency projects. Draft technical and administrative documentation for business processes and projects. Serve as the primary point of contact for several cloud-based tools that support Digital Government operations. Communicate Agency Platform changes and updates to the platform’s user group. Deliver reports and updates to executive leadership. Position will be an hourly contract position – contract rate is commensurate with experience. Initial contract term is 3-6 months with a possible conversion to Full Time Employment. This position will be 100% remote work to start.
