Job Description:The

Sr Business Analyst is responsible for working closely with clients, project manager, core team members and other project stakeholders and providing leadership throughout the Software Development Life Cycle. This individual must possess solid business acumen, strong oral and written communication skills, flexibility, self-motivation, and social skills. They also must have the ability to bridge the business / IT divide in a way that establishes rapport, persuades others and gains understanding and trust.

The ideal candidate will:• Be a team player with a positive attitude, enthusiasm, initiative, and self-motivation.• Have knowledge and experience with analyzing business information, scope definition, requirements gathering, data analysis, functional specifications, application design, testing and implementation in an agile development environment.• Possess strong interpersonal, leadership, negotiation, and written communication skills.

Responsibilities include:• Elicit, analyze, and validate business, functional, and non-functional requirements• Identifying business process improvement• Identifying and managing business and functional requirements• Lead the business in the design of the future state (To-Be) through the analysis of their current state (As-Is) via process modelingo Design and document system functionalityo Perform on-going requirements traceability and management, including facilitating discussions related to change requests• Preparing and presenting complex written and verbal materials such as reports, findings, and systems training• Developing, grooming, and validating user stories and the acceptance criteria• Documenting key content deliverables (Requirements & functional design, user stories, test plans, test cases, UAT sessions, acceptance report, training materials)• Communicating status to project managers, team members and management• Work with cross-functionally with teams to ensure data integrity, shared understanding, and consistency across the business and systems• Leads backlog grooming meetings - reviews user stories and acceptance criteria with sprint team• Works with the Product Owner to ensure strong quality of product backlog - Strives to have two sprint's worth of US in backlog• Participates in sprint ceremonies (daily stand up, demo, retrospective)

Experience Requirements:• 5 years of experience as Business Analyst, extensive hands-on experience with agile practices, requirements documentation, facilitating and interviewing techniques to extract and validate user requirements• 5 years extensive hands-on experience with requirements (product backlog), design, construction, testing and implementation phases of software development in an agile development environment.

Additional InformationThere may be occasional contacts with vendors of software, equipment, and services. Occasional travel to Client facilities. Ability to work effectively using the services of various organizational groups within Client. Depending on assignment, frequent requirement to work with confidential data
