Key Responsibilities: Oversee the forecasting, planning, scheduling, and workflow processes. Collaborate daily with operations, procurement, and logistics to meet and exceed customer expectations. Review order quantities and confirm inventory needs 1-3 weeks in advance by communicating the production schedule for each product. Analyze current and future material levels and finished goods inventory to plan production schedules for 2-16 weeks out. Communicate with procurement on material needs. Set targets for master production planning, material requirements planning, and production scheduling metrics. Coordinate inventory levels relative to manufacturing capacity and capability; compile and schedule orders to ensure optimal production levels. Assist production management in directing and managing assembly operations to prioritize production and ensure timely and cost-effective completion. Oversee and enhance SOPs for capturing granular details in the current inventory process.
