City Clean Up Needed! - Start Tomorrow! $15/hour

HB Staffing is currently seeking employees for a two month temporary assignment.

Job Summary:

Workers will be responsible for cleaning up homeless campsites after residents have been given a three-day notice to vacate. Clean-up locations may include empty lots, alleys, tunnels, and sidewalks. Workers will always be accompanied by police officers for safety and will be provided with necessary work equipment.

Work Schedule:

Report to the main office at 5:00 AM daily.

Workers will be transported to the worksite by city employees.

Work will be conducted in outdoor environments with varying conditions.

Key Responsibilities:

Raking and collecting trash left behind at designated clean-up sites.

Using tools such as rakes and pitchforks to gather debris.

Wearing provided safety gear, including gloves, vests, and hardhats.

Following all safety guidelines and protocols.

Working as part of a team to efficiently clear assigned locations.

Important Notes:

Workers will not handle bodily fluids or drug paraphernalia. Specialized city employees will manage hazardous waste removal.

All clean-up work will be done under the supervision of city employees and law enforcement personnel.

Requirements:

Must wear covered boots or steel-toed boots (mandatory).

Ability to perform physically demanding work, including lifting and raking.

Willingness to work early morning shifts and in various outdoor environments.

Ability to follow safety procedures and city guidelines.
