AECOM Technical Services, Inc. is seeking a Civil Engineering III in Phoenix, AZ.Job details:Evaluate and apply Traffic Engineering principles, standards, and criteria.Interact directly with clients at project meetings and ensure that all client project designs meet engineering standards.Interact directly with other disciplines such as roadway, drainage, structures, Geotech, water, and environment to coordinate design.Adhere to project schedules and budgets and keep project PM/Discipline Lead aware of any issues.Lead the development of Plans, Specifications, and Estimates (PS&E) packages based upon agency standards an specifications for traffic signal and pedestrian crossing control system design, ITS, roadway lighting, Signing and Pavement Marking, and MOT design.Perform traffic operational analysis including traffic projections, analysis, and simulation using Synchro/SimTraffic, HCS, and VISSIM.Analyze crash data to identify crash patterns and probable causes, develop collision and condition diagrams.Conduct predictive safety analysis.Perform photometric analysis using AGi32 and Visual lighting.Participate in transportation planning assignments, corridor studies, safety studies, and IAJR reports.Prepare technical memorandums and papers for clients and/or internal distribution.Conduct field reviews.Provide guidance and technical support to junior engineers and team members on project tasks.Manage small to medium size projects independently.Manage big size projects under the guidance of senior project managers.May telecommute.
