Turner & Townsend is looking for a Procurement and Supply Chain Manager to support a large mining & tailings project in Tucson, Arizona. The ideal candidate has excellent communication skills and demonstrates leadership qualities.Project Specific: - Projects, Commercial Procurement for Legacy Assets for tailings dam remediation / Earthworks projects.- 3x a week in Tucson, AZ and 2x a week at jobsite (1.5 hours commute from Phoenix, AZ) Responsibilities:Lead the sourcing, formation and execution of new contracts and manage contract variations compliant with the client level- statutory obligations.Take the lead in facilitating meetings with internal and external stakeholders to foster deeper relationships with all supply chain partners.Monitor performance of work under contract, at both project and portfolio levels, in line with contracted Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).Maintain business intelligence of market conditions and external risks and opportunities.Lead and review the documentation and review/ approval process for the execution of variation/ amendment requests for contracts, to meet company guidelines.Review and respond to potential new vendors with suitable responses to business development enquiries.Issues RFx in alignment with sourcing/contracting strategyEscalate contractual issues to relevant stakeholders and coordinate the resolution process including the facilitation and resolution of issues arising from claims, invoicing and rebates.Keep track of supplier capacity, and schedule to meet NPI and mass production need.Develop analytical solutions for data discovery and exploration leading to improvements in Procurement performance.Build advanced analytics models (including predictive, prescriptive, machine learning, simulation, and statistical) to solve complex supply chain problems and to uncover new correlations and interdependencies among supply chain variables.Collaborate with IT and Master Data teams to obtain high-quality data and ensure required datasets are available for discovery and model building.
