Description Robert Half Management Resources is seeking a Controller who will be responsible for overseeing tour clients' financial activities, ensuring compliance with GAAP, and preparing detailed financial reports for lenders and the board of directors. This role requires a deep understanding of financial covenants, cash budgeting, and forecasting, along with strong communication skills to interact with management and banks.Responsibilities: Prepare and distribute the monthly financial reporting package in accordance with GAAP to lenders. Analyze and discuss trends and changes in the income statement month-to-month with management. Possess a thorough understanding of EBITDA and its implications on financial health and reporting. Prepare and submit quarterly covenant calculations to lenders, including, Debt-to-EBITDA leverage covenant, Fixed Charge Coverage Ratio, Capital Expenditures (CAPEX). Review and comprehend current credit agreements with lenders to ensure compliance and optimal financial planning. Prepare monthly borrowing base calculations for the Line of Credit (LOC). Develop and maintain a 13-week cash budget to ensure proper cash flow management. Create and update monthly forecasts for each year, comparing actual results to budgeted results. Forecast lender covenants to anticipate and mitigate potential financial risks. Assist in the preparation of the board of directors’ package. Present the financial section of the board package to the board of directors. Oversee treasury functions to manage the company’s financial resources effectively. Serve as the primary point of contact for all communications with banks, ensuring clear and effective dialogue.Requirements Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or related field; CPA preferred. Proven experience in a Controller or similar financial leadership role. In-depth knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting requirements. Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret financial data and trends. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal. Proficiency in financial software and tools. Ability to present complex financial information to non-financial stakeholders. Experience with covenant calculations and lender communications.
