Convenience/Liquor Store Clerk (Phoenix)

Duties include but are not limited to: providing excellent customer service, opening and closing of store, operating a cash register; stocking of liquor store coolers and shelves; cleaning of store; Scheduled to work 25 to 40 hours per week including days, evenings and weekends.

Minimum Education/Experience Requirements:

High school graduation or equivalent.

Must be at least 21 years of age.

Basic knowledge of retail sales, including ability to reconcile cash and receipts and ability to obtain knowledge of cash register/POS procedures.

Previous retail or other merchandising experience involving public contact.

Basic product knowledge within the liquor industry.

Demonstrate excellent interpersonal skills in dealing with a wide variety of people.

Demonstrate excellent customer service and communication skills.

Ability to meet the physical requirements of the position, including: frequently lift moderately heavy cases of mer­chandise and move kegs; ability to stand or walk for long periods; and perform frequent bending, twisting, and stooping.

Preferred Qualifications:

Previous retail or other merchandising experience in a liquor operation.

Supervisory experience of retail salespersons, sales clerks, cashiers, and stockers.

Multiple shifts available: 8am-5pm, 5pm-1am weekdays. Hours may vary on weekends. Must have flexible schedule
