Description:The cost accountant will work with the accounting department within a vehicle manufacturing environment to perform financial records, cost analysis, and monthly budget reports. Will perform physical inventory, cycle counts, keep cost ledger, and work with purchasing and planning in the cost accounting role.

Collecting and analyzing data on operational costs.
Setting standard costs of manufactured goods
Developing and analyzing costing standards
Cost-volume-profit (CVP) analysis
Establishing cost of administration, labor, shipping, etc.
Account reconciliations
Prepare audit reports to present to leadership
Process improvement to reduce cost and maximize profits
Supporting accounting team with invoicing and capital expenditure
