Customer Service & Technical Support Phone Representative

Water filter manufacturer needs phone representative to take inbound customer calls, troubleshoot problems, identify a course of action and potential up sell. You will also ascertain their water treatment needs and introduce them to the right product. No cold calling There will be other general customer service duties, and general office tasks, however your primary job is to learn the products thoroughly and provide support. Will train.

Office is located in a beautiful brand-new building just north of 7th St and the 101, near a mountain preserve. It’s a really nice place to work with ample parking and your own private office.

JOB DESCRIPTION

Answer phones in a courteous, knowledgeable manner that instills trust and confidence in the customer.

Sell product to telephone customers in a way that makes the customer feel good about their purchase. Inform the customer of product upgrades and other products lines. Often the customer will need a product with which they are unfamiliar.

Troubleshoot customer problems in a linear, methodical manner that solves the problem while minimizing costs. Follow our protocols.

Generate customer service documents and materials

General office tasks

Maintain a clean work area

COMPENSATION

Pay: $15.00 - $17.00 per hour; with OT and bonuses.

Private office.

Experience with MS Office and the Internet

Background in chemistry or water sciences, or plumbing experience, a plus
