The Analyst will work with multiple Business Units within SVB to assist with reporting and remediation efforts . Analyst would manage adding and deleting assets from the vulnerability management scanning tools as requested. Analyst would be familiar with the data and metrics being produced by the vulnerability function and report on vulnerabilities identified in the environment. Responsibilities- Update vulnerability information in scanning tool; ensuring scanning information is complete.
- Create and review vulnerability reports to ensure accuracy , identifying areas for improvement
- T rack remediation plans , identify when remediation plans are complete or delayed
- Execute tasks under the direction of the vulnerability organization
- Support the vulnerability tools and dashboards used to scan and report vulnerabilities
- Enter, t rack and report exceptions for unreme diated vulnerabilities
- Analytical and problem-solving skills
- Familiar with Scanning tools used in vulnerability management
- Ability to analyze vulnerability data
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Familiar with security best practices
- Familiar with Linux and windows operating systems
- Basic k nowledge of vulnerability scanning tools, their function and understanding of the information that is being generated.
- Ability to assess vulnerabilities, evaluate weaknesses, provide remediatio n information
- Familiar with security frameworks such as NIST, SCF, PCI.
- Ability to present technical information in non-technical terms for business consumption
- Associate s degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, or Cyber Security , or equivalent work experience
- 1 -2 years working in IT or S ecurit y
