And we work diligently to encourage all with different ways of thinking, different ways of working, and especially those traditionally underrepresented in technology and financial services, to apply.Job Description:Principal DevOps ArchitectAs a Principal IAM DevOps Architect, the candidate will be responsible for the design, architecture and support of tools/services that allows application engineers to focus just on coding/developing the application while everything else happens automatically in the background, including continuous integration, continuous monitoring, continuous deployment to staging, rules-based promotion through the environment.The successful candidate will have a strong influence on designing and implementing our CI/CD pipelines and Cloud IAM initiatives, working side-by-side with our Security and Application Development teams. This is a hands-on technical role but with a high degree of collaboration to drive cultural change and raise the maturity levels of the IAM Cloud practice.Role Responsibilities- Identity gaps in AWS IAM Security
- Develop automated solutions to ensure IAM Standards are being met
- Develop HashiCorp Sentinel policies to create guardrails and reduce manual review
- Streamline GitLab pipelines to isolate code between environments
- Develop solutions for manual processes and control remediation
- Develop custom internal tooling to consume AWS data and report on controls and metrics
- Break down complex tasks into bite size pieces to be shared amongst the teams
- Evaluate the current state of our CI/CD practices and identify areas for improvement
- Establishes and enforces DevOps standards, patterns, and optimizations to enable teams to deliver high-performance products
- Use Agile methods (Scrum/Kanban) to organize project deliverables, to track and to report progress
- Mentors and trains members of the team to skill up staff
- Bachelor's Degree or Master's in Computer Science, Software Engineering or relevant experience
- 5+ years of experience in DevOps
- Excellent Python, PowerShell, and scripting fundamentals
- Experience with API standards (REST, SOAP, JSON, XML)
- Experience with SQL and NoSQL databases (DynamoDB)
- Expert in DevOps and CI/CD practices and tools (Git, Gitlab, Ansible Tower, Terraform)
- Strong experience with build and Configuration Management concepts tools and implementations
- Strong experience with application telemetry, monitoring and alerting solutions (Splunk, AppDynamics, CloudWatch or similar)
- Good communication skills and ability to develop and explain protocol and processes with team and management.
- Strong automation and problem-solving skills and ability to follow through to completion
- Good understanding of agile development
- Experience with open-source technologies and cloud services.
- Handles challenging problems with a positive "can do" attitude.
- Experience in IAM and security fundamentals
- Cloud certification - Associate or architect level / Security Specialty preferred
- Understanding of IAM tools such as SailPoint, Ping, and CyberArk/Conjur, HashiCorp Vault
- Experience with 3rd party AWS tools such as CloudKnox and Ermetic
