Engineer - CUSTOM CABINETRY!

LAYOUT ENGINEER – CUSTOM / FRAMELESS CABINETRY

Our ideal candidate will have 2+ years of experience engineering cabinetry from the design phase through installation. We’re looking for someone with versatility and knowledge regarding woodworking and cabinetry construction.

Job Description:

Translating customer facing sales drawings to shop/production-friendly engineering drawings.

Incorporate feedback from the shop and field in an efficient manner.

Troubleshoot shop problems.

Collaborate with layout technicians, project managers, & manufacturing to quickly troubleshoot issues as they arise.

Modify cabinetry based on technical specifications for accessories and appliances.

Uphold the Woodcase standard of quality.

Skills:

Cabinet Vision experience, or equivalent CAD programs (AutoCAD, SolidWorks, Autodesk Inventor, etc.)

CabinetWare or 20/20 experience; sales drawings experience preferred.

Programming language skills, or the ability to create and manipulate formulas; equation writing.

MS Office Suite

Knowledge of SCM Center (screen to machine)

Panel processing/CNC-based knowledge

User-created standards (UCS), a plus!
