Fabricator

Come work for Concrete Designs, Inc. - Tucson’s premiere precast concrete manufacturer! We are currently looking for someone with solid skills and attention to detail to join our team as a fabricator in the tooling department.

A fabricator in our shop uses wood, plastics, rubber, plaster, and just about anything else that works to create patterns and molds for concrete production. Whether small or massive, we make everything from simple pavers to strikingly ornate column capitals, pediments, etc.

Those skilled in trades like carpentry / cabinetmaking, bodywork, sculpture, forming, finishing, or anything that requires a keen eye and a bit of creativity, will do well here. If you like learning new skills, using your brain as well as well as your dexterity, while doing a variety of tasks, this might be the job for you. The ideal candidate:

Has the ability to perform physically demanding and occasionally repetitive tasks.

Has experience with a variety of stationary and portable power tools.

Has the ability to read and interpret shop drawings.

Is thoughtful and detail oriented.

Bonus points for:

Basic computer skills (Windows, MS Office)

Forklift experience

Steel fabrication & welding

Thermoforming

CNC machining

CAM software knowledge (MasterCAM)
