Job DescriptionThe client is looking for Field Service Engineers to help install their semiconductor equipment and interact with their customers directly to discuss/troubleshoot any issues or escalations that might arise. This could involve safety conversations with customers along with being able to express complex concepts and summaries for maintenance tasks. This will require a heavy amount of attention to detail and a mechanical base knowledge to be able to follow documented procedures and understand the purpose along with documenting the progress. MUST HAVES

Electro-mechanical troubleshooting experience - through BSEE/ME degree, internships, work experience or hobbies

Knowledge of mechanical blueprints and electrical schematics and how to apply them to equipment and troubleshooting

Ability to travel to Phoenix, AZ for training 6-8 weeks.

DUTIES:

Perform installations, preventative maintenance and remedial repair maintenance on complex electronic / electro-mechanical semiconductor capital equipment.

Have the ability to assist in customer escalations and manage beta-site projects.

Create and maintain a high level of customer delight through advanced customer service skills, implementing fast quality responses to both internal and external customers while maintaining a safety first mentality.

Will be required to develop action plans for problem resolution and be able to present to internal and external customers.

Develop improvements for processes, hardware and software for continuous improvement of equipment / business operations.

This person needs to have at least 6 months experience working in a cleanroom (Preferably semiconductor but other industries would work. Like aerospace or automotive or consumer electronics)

Troubleshooting electromechanical equipment.

Experience working with hand tools (Multimeters, wrenches etc. ) . Someone who has worked on cars or has mechanical or electrical hobbies works well

Schematics – Must be able to identify components on a schematic
