Description Want improved work/life balance? This position has it! Robert Half is seeking a Finance Director to oversee the fiscal operations of our client's growing non-profit organization. As their Finance Director, you will manage all aspects of the company's financial activities, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and alignment with the organization's strategic goals.Job Responsibilities:
Oversee entire financial operations, including accounts payable, receivable, payroll, and financial reporting
Leverage QuickBooks to maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records
Develop, and maintain the annual budget, ensuring aligning with strategic goals
Conduct regular financial analysis, prepare detailed reports and provide strategic recommendations to top management
Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local financial legal requirements by studying existing and new legislation, enforcing adherence to requirements, and advising management on required actions
Develop processes and controls to improve efficiency of financial operations
Ensure the integrity of the organization’s financial management systems and processes
Act as a point of contact for all external audits
Collaborate with other departments to streamline procedures, ensure smooth workflow, and improve performance
Requirements
Key Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, or a related field
Experience in a finance role within the non-profit sector is a plus (but not required)
Proficient in QuickBooks and other financial management software
Solid understanding of financial laws and regulations
Exceptional communication, leadership, and organizational skills
Meticulous attention to detail
