Several hundred employees support global operations in finance, human resources, information technology, planning and more from the main office, satellite offices or online. As a Hybrid employee, you will collaborate primarily virtually anywhere in the U.S. except California, Connecticut, Illinois, Kansas, Kentucky, Massachusetts, Michigan, New Hampshire, New York, North Carolina, Oklahoma, and South Carolina. Additional states may be excluded based on business factors. Occasionally, you may be required to attend in-person meetings at our Collaboration Hub in Phoenix and/or one of our site locations. The Collaboration Hub provides an open, flexible workspace for individuals and teams to come together for various business needs. Amenities at the Hub include a working café, phone booths and meeting rooms with technology tools for virtual and in-person collaboration. DescriptionPrepare financial and business related analyses and research in such areas as financial and expense performance, working capital, and investments. Prepare and analyze forecasts and budgets, and analyzes trends in manufacturing, sales, and general business conditions. Comply with Freeport-McMoRan's reporting requirements.
Analyze financial and accounting results. Report on deviations from forecasts and budgets and recommend corrective action(s) to effect timely and accurate management decisions.
Support preparation and analysis of business plans, budgets and forecasts to ensure the financial well-being of the Company.
Participate in the development and evaluation of new or existing business/program opportunities. May require travel to domestic and international locations.
Review accounting and financial processes to ensure compliance with Company policies, procedures and instructions.
Assist in ensuring that proper analyses and documentation are included in capital project requests submitted for management approval.
Support internal and external auditors and prepare financial information for annual reports and regulatory agencies.
Perform other duties as requested
QualificationsMinimum Requirements:
High School diploma or GED and eight (8) years professional experience in accounting, including two (2) years in prolong intellectual instruction (certifications, instructed training, OR on the job training, etc) in Accounting or Finance; OR
Associate's degree in Accounting, Finance, or closely related area and six (6) years professional experience in accounting; OR
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or closely related area and four (4) years experience in accounting, OR
Master’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or closely related area and two (2) years experience in accounting.
Preferred Qualifications:
Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting and/or Finance
Strong accounting and analytical skills
CPA designation
MBA
Bilingual (Spanish and English)
Criteria/Conditions:
Position is in busy, non-smoking office located in downtown Phoenix, AZ
Location requires mobility in an office environment; each floor is accessible by elevator. Occasionally work will be performed in a mine, outdoor or manufacturing plant setting.
Must be able to frequently sit, stand and walk.
Must be able to frequently lift and carry up to 10 pounds.
Must be able to work in a potentially stressful environment.
Personal protective equipment is required when performing work in a mine, outdoor, manufacturing or plant environment, including hard hat, hearing protection, safety glasses, safety footwear, and as needed, respirator, rubber steel-toe boots, protective clothing, gloves and any other protective equipment as required.

What We Offer YouThe estimated annual pay range for this role is currently 72,000-$98,000. This range reflects base salary only and does not include bonus payments, benefits or retirement contributions. Actual base pay is determined by experience, qualifications, skills and other job-related factors. This role is eligible for additional discretionary and incentive payment considerations based on company and individual performance.
