We are seeking a warm and professional Front Desk Agent to join our team at our charming, boutique hotel in the heart of West Sedona. You will be the first point of contact for guests, ensuring a memorable and welcoming experience. Your role will be crucial in helping guests feel at home while they explore the beauty of Sedona.

Key Responsibilities:

- Welcoming Guests: Provide a friendly and inviting atmosphere as you greet guests upon arrival, check them in, and introduce them to the unique offerings of the hotel and the surrounding area.

- Personalized Service: Offer personalized recommendations for local dining, hiking trails, and Sedona attractions to enhance guests' stay.

- Reservations: Efficiently manage guest reservations, handle last-minute changes, and ensure all details, including special requests, are accurately captured.

- Problem Resolution: Handle guest concerns with warmth and professionalism, providing quick solutions or escalating issues to management as necessary.

- Billing and Payments: Process check-ins and check-outs, manage guest payments, and handle cash, credit cards, and other forms of payment with accuracy and discretion.

- Communication: Answer phone calls and emails in a courteous manner, addressing inquiries about the property, amenities, and the local area.

- Daily Reporting: Maintain accurate records of guest check-ins/outs, payments, and incidents. Prepare end-of-shift reports and ensure seamless communication with the next shift.

- Upselling: Promote and upsell the property’s services, such as in-room extras, local tours, and special packages, to enhance the guest experience.

Qualifications:

- Previous front desk or customer service experience, preferably in a boutique hotel or similar setting.

- Familiarity with reservation and property management systems (PMS) a plus.

- Friendly and outgoing personality with excellent communication and customer service skills.

- Ability to multitask and maintain composure during busy check-in/check-out times.

- Knowledge of Sedona’s local attractions, restaurants, and outdoor activities is highly desirable.

- Flexible availability, including weekends and holidays, as Sedona is a year-round destination.

- High school diploma or equivalent required, additional hospitality education is a plus.

Physical Requirements:

- Occasionally lift or move objects weighing up to 25 pounds.

Work Environment:

This role is based at a quaint, serene property in West Sedona, offering a welcoming and peaceful environment for both staff and guests. The job will require working during peak tourist seasons, which may include holidays and weekends.
