Description We are in search of a Full Charge Bookkeeper to join our team in the construction industry, based in Gilbert, Arizona. This role offers a contract to hire employment opportunity and involves managing all aspects of accounting, from processing transactions to preparing financial statements. As a Full Charge Bookkeeper, you will play a crucial role in maintaining the financial health of our company by managing our day-to-day accounting and finance requirements.Responsibilities: Oversee the full cycle of accounting duties or tasks including Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) Manage all accounting transactions and ensure all financial transactions are properly recorded, filed, and reported Utilize accounting software systems to process business transactions, like accounts payable and receivable, disbursements, and receipts Prepare and maintain accurate financial statements, including cash flow analysis and annual budget Perform regular, detailed audits to ensure accuracy in financial documents, expenditures, and investments Utilize ADP - Financial Services for payroll processing and other related tasks Use Great Plains (GPAC) and Microsoft Excel for data management and financial analysis Operate computerized accounting systems to record, store, and analyze information Develop systems to account for financial transactions by establishing a chart of accounts; define bookkeeping policies and procedures Maintain and balance the general ledger in an accurate, complete, and up-to-date manner. Requirements Must have proficiency in Accounting Software Systems. Familiarity with ADP - Financial Services is required. Experience with Computerized Accounting System is essential. Knowledge of Great Plains (GPAC) is a plus. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel is required. Must be able to perform all Accounting Functions. Experience in handling Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) is necessary. Must be capable of preparing an Annual Budget. Should have skills in Cash Flow Analysis.
