The Ground Beef Quality Assurance Lead is a critical Quality Assurance position in the plant.Ability to oversee Production Supervisors and hourly Quality Assurance technicians in all aspects of food safety and product quality for the ground beef area.Knowledge and familiarity with regulatory requirements; working closely with both production groups and FSIS.Ability to make decisions and to guide and advise production and QA techs when non-routine events occur.Requirements:Education: Minimum High School Diploma or GED equivalent.Experience: Minimum 2-4 years background experience in numerous areas in a meat processing facility.Special skill: Familiarity of meat inspection regulationsComputer and writing skills are important due to the technical nature of the positionGeneral knowledge of how plant operates is importantStrong verbal skill essential“The Company is dedicated to ensuring a safe and secure environment for our team members and visitors.
