Description: Global Trade SpecialistHybrid position: Prefers candidates near Folsom or Santa Clara, CA, or Arizona (2 days per week on site)

In this position, you will help ensure that the importation and exportation of goods or technology comply with applicable government laws and regulations. Responsibilities can include classifying goods or technology imported and exported, obtaining import or export licenses, completing or retaining required documentation, and compiling reports. Duties could also include documentation, analysis, and update of import/export processes, programs, or projects to determine methods for improving efficiency or effectiveness and coordination with internal and external stakeholders (including government authorities).

Qualifications: You must possess the below minimum qualifications to be initially considered. Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates.

Minimum Qualifications:• A bachelor's degree in business administration or related field• 5+ years' experience in trade compliance - preferably with an Importer/exporter. Including:• Good understanding of US Customs and Import Laws and Regulations (CFR 19).• FTZ operational and compliance performance and inventory control.• Good understanding of the Administration Regulations (EAR).• Good knowledge of US Government Agencies Regulations (EPA, FCC, FDA, Etc.).• Ability to analyze technical data and can clearly articulate the appropriate HTS.• Be able to articulate conclusions and decisions based on customs regulations.

Preferred Qualifications:• Licensed customs broker, CCS or CES Certified• Experience in SAP GTS a Plus• Strong Technical Skills• Proficient in all MS Office applications (i.e., Access, Excel, PowerPoint, Word)• Strong computer skills, including the ability to research transactions and prepare
