BCforward is currently seeking highly motivated Guest Experience Assistant in Yuma, AZ 85364 Job Title: Guest Experience Assistant Location: Yuma, AZ 85364 Expected Duration: 03 Months Contract with the possibility of extension Summary: This position is responsible for promoting a joy and appreciation for local history among visitors to the Sanguinetti House Museum and Gardens. Primary Responsibilities: Greet visitors upon arrival in period-appropriate costume. Encourage interest and engagement in the museum by sharing exhibition highlights with guests. Process sales of museum/program tickets, liquor, and chocolate. Assist with serving alcoholic beverages. Assist with vibrant downtown history tours. Support tours through event coordination assistance, ticket sales, visitor interaction, and merchandise sales. Assist with the coordination and effective delivery of educational programming. Assist with facility rentals for weddings and hosted events ensuring picture perfect memories. Assist with cleaning and care of the museum. Assist with daily museum operations and activities. Other duties may be requested. Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills Dynamic public speaking skills Proficiency in use of software: MS Office Word, Excel and/or Google's similar product suite Ability: Ability to work under changing priorities Ability to work a flexible schedule, involving Fridays and Saturdays, and some evenings Ability to develop and maintain effective and collaborative working relationships Ability to speak effectively and present to small and large groups Ability to maintain professional composure during stressful situations Selective Preferences: Public speaking experience preferred 3+ years of customer care experience preferred Vibrant, positive approach to tasks Additional Essential Job Functions: Personal vehicle required Must be willing and eligible to take and pass the State of Arizona's Basic Title 4 alcohol servers certification exam. Some standing and walking required Some lifting, up to 30 pounds required
