As a Human Factors Sr. Advanced System Engineer here at Honeywell, you will play a critical role in the design, implementation, and management of complex Avionics User interfaces that integrate with the Anthem Avionics systems and solutions that drive innovation, safety, and efficiency in the aerospace industry. You will work within cross-functional teams on the Anthem Program transforming the way the aerospace industry operates. Your expertise in human factors, systems engineering, project management, and technical leadership will be instrumental in shaping the future of technology and industry solutions.You will report directly to our Next Generation Avionics Team and you'll work out of our Deer Valley, AZ location on a hybrid work schedule.KEY RESPONSIBILITIESLead the design and development of advanced user interfaces for Anthem Avionics applications focused on human factorUse of Degree in Human Factors or strong desire to learn related key conceptsPlan, execute and document evaluations in a lab or airplane environment.Knowledge of aerospace industry standards as they relate to human factors, operational performance and cockpit layouts a key ingredient, but could be learned.Be knowledgeable in safety aspects as they pertain to Human Factors Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful execution of complex engineering projectsImplement and enforce security measures and compliance standards to safeguard systems and dataProvide technical leadership in identifying and resolving system issues, minimizing downtime, and ensuring systems remain operationalIdentify opportunities for process and system improvements, implement enhancements, and contribute to the optimization of operationsBENEFITS OF WORKING FOR HONEYWELLIn addition to a competitive salary, leading-edge work, and developing solutions side-by-side with dedicated experts in their fields, Honeywell employees are eligible for a comprehensive benefits package.
