Hiring - Interstate Foreman Movers

Camelback Moving Inc, one of the biggest moving companies in Arizona, is looking to expand their Interstate Department and we are looking for Class A or D Drivers with household goods experience. Interstate drivers receive a very generous pay structure, per diem, quarterly bonuses, sleeper pay, re-set pay etc.

This position is perfect for an experienced driver/mover who is willing to do 3 – 4 interstate runs a month (Far less than a normal owner/operator) and work local moving jobs while in town. Unlike the van line industry, we run short itineraries of 2-14 days at a time. Will be in training for the first few months.

INTERSTATE:

Driver/Movers (Class A) - $27.00 - $30.00/hour based on verifiable experience

Over the road daily pay of $420.00 - $500.00 based on verifiable experience, also we pay to reset hours

Camelback Moving is a drug free work place. Applicant must be drug free and must agree to random drug and alcohol screening.

Commercial moving experience is desirable and will be considered favorably on a resume.

In accordance with state law, drivers are required to maintain a DOT medical card. A CDL is not required, but again is looked upon favorably.

All movers are required to complete a 3-day training and assessment course. New employees will learn the basics to advanced techniques in packing, disassembly and reassembly, large item preparation, lifting, safety, loading, unloading, as well as all Camelback Moving policies and procedures. For movers with large amounts of experience this time will be used to assess skill level, test sure-footedness, professionalism and personality for rapid advancement.
