Job Overview:

As an HVAC Technician at GE Home Services, you will play a pivotal role in our mission to deliver superior HVAC services to our valued customers. You will be responsible for installing, repairing, and maintaining HVAC systems with precision and efficiency. Our ideal candidate is a licensed and certified professional with a strong technical background and a dedication to excellence.

Responsibilities:

Perform installation, maintenance, and repair tasks on a variety of HVAC systems, including heating units, air conditioning units, ventilation systems, and refrigeration units.

Diagnose mechanical and electrical issues accurately and efficiently, using diagnostic tools and troubleshooting techniques.

Conduct routine inspections and preventative maintenance to ensure optimal performance and prolong the lifespan of HVAC systems.

Collaborate with the sales and customer service teams to provide technical expertise and recommendations to clients.

Adhere to safety protocols and industry regulations at all times to maintain a safe working environment for yourself and others.

Document all service and repair activities thoroughly, including parts used, labor hours, and recommendations for future maintenance or upgrades.

Stay updated on the latest HVAC technologies, techniques, and industry trends through ongoing training and professional development.

Qualifications:

Valid HVAC technician license and certification required.

Proven experience as an HVAC technician, with a minimum of 7 years in the field.

Thorough understanding of HVAC systems, components, and principles, including electrical wiring, refrigeration cycles, and airflow dynamics.

Proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals.

Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail, with the ability to troubleshoot complex issues effectively.

Excellent communication and customer service skills, with a professional and courteous demeanor.

Ability to work independently or as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.

Valid driver's license and clean driving record required.

Education:

High school diploma or equivalent required.

Completion of a formal HVAC training program or apprenticeship preferred.

Work Environment:

This is a full-time position based at our office in Phoenix, AZ. Some travel to customer sites may be required.
