About this role:Wells Fargo is seeking a Lead Business Execution Consultant for our Customer Data & Engagement team within Consumer, Small & Business Banking. This role will be responsible for consulting on accessibility experiences, ensuring the Wells Fargo digital facilities can be used by people of all abilities. This role will help drive consistent accessibility practices, providing review and day to day guidance and support on the process and testing to ensure digital accessibility requirements are being met. Lead and/or support driving consistent accessibility practices across multiple Lines of Business (LOBs) within the digital environment
Contribute to large-scale planning related to the execution and rollout of the Accessibility Transformation digital strategy
Meet project deliverables while leveraging solid understanding of digital accessibility initiatives, Accessibility for Customers and Employees with Disability (ACED) Policy, procedures and/or compliance requirements
Consult on simple, friendly digital experiences by being obsessed with what's most important to our customers, ensuring our designs can be used by people of all abilities.
Work in a highly collaborative environment, supporting design practitioners, testing and business leads to deliver accessibility solutions
Test with Assistive Technologies and/or interpreting the test results of others
Ensure that solutions for accessibility contribute to a positive user experience for all customers
Contribute to the writing of Wells Fargo Online Standards and Guidelines ensuring compliance with WCAG 2.1 A and AA success criteria.
Promote accessibility within the organization; advocate for considering accessibility as a vital part of the customer experience
Ensure that solutions for accessibility contribute to a positive user experience for all customers
Perform various tasks related to the governance of quality, compliant front-end code
Perform tasks to ensure delivery of accessible design and markup, such as:
Visually conduct accessibility reviews of design assets provided by visual designers, interaction designers, and content strategists
Define and document accessibility requirements for design deliverables and user stories
Perform spot testing or heuristic reviews of coded deliverables, as needed
Educate and inform project teams of end to end processes
Provide guidance for use of ARIA for web technologies such as HTML and mobile platforms
Help maintain tools and resources such as testing software and documented standards
Contribute to accessibility training of other
Lead and present training sessions to internal and external audiences
Develop and facilitate accessibility training and presentations
Assist in the management, planning, facilitation, and tracking of vendor accessibility testing engagements
Required Qualifications, US:
5+ years of Business Execution, Implementation, or Strategic Planning experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
2+ years of experience with Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.0 and 2.1 Combined
Desired Qualifications:
Knowledge and understanding of technology testing: build/deploy processes, and release management
Marketing process experience
Experience with assistive technologies such as JAWS, NVDA, VoiceOver, or TalkBack
Ability to convey issues to marketing partners, testers other functional partners verbally and in writing to include use of ARIA for web technologies such as HTML and mobile platforms
Proven ability to identifying creative approaches to accessibility challenges and problems
Ability to manage multiple projects with competing priorities in a cross-functional environment
Ability to operate effectively in a geographically dispersed organization
Strong organizational, multi-tasking, and prioritizing skills
Ability to execute in a fast paced, high demand, environment while balancing multiple priorities
Ability to negotiate, influence, and collaborate to build successful relationships
Ability to exercise independent judgment and creative problem solving techniques
Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
