Join the eXcell team. We are currently in search of a qualified Level 2 Technical Support Technician to join our team. The idea candidate will work in a corporate environment located onsite with one of our largest and most well-known customers. Your duties will include but will not be limited to:
- Delivering and setting up peripherals and interdepartmental deliveries using company van
- Installing and configuring OS on client laptops
- Migrating client data to new laptop
- Picking up surplus equipment from users
- Preparing old equipment for redisposition and e-waste handling
- Processing and testing failed systems returned from clients, diagnosing, and creating repair tickets for Return For Maintenance
- Processing assets returned from clients leaving the company
- Cleaning and testing used systems for redeployment
- Ensuring all client inventory assets are stored and distributed in a clean and professional manner
- 1+ year(s) technical experience desired
- Must be able to lift up to 35 lbs. solo
- Must have valid DL to drive company van
- Steel-toed shoes required for safety areas
- May be required to walk / sit / stand / crawl / kneel for extended periods
- Must have excellent customer service skills and excellent written / verbal communication skills
- Requires knowledge of Microsoft suite (Outlook, Excel and Word primarily), Windows 8, and Windows 10
- Technical certifications a plus
