- ROLE IS 100% ONSITE. MUST BE ABLE TO WORK FLEXIBLE HOURS WHEN NEEDED AS PART OF THE NORMAL MAINTEANCE FOR A SYSTEM ADMINISTRATOR (SOMEWEEKEND/AFTERHOURS/HOLIDAY COVERAGE MAY BE NECESSARY). ABILITY TO BE ONCALL FOR 7/24 W/ 4 HOURS RESPONSE.
- Linux + and Security + Certification; not required but preferred.
- NFPA Electrical Safety Training- preferred; but needs to be willing to complete once onboarded. Supplier must pay for training.
- Experience in a High Performance Computing environment
- Able to work independently to plan and manage upgrades, customer SLAs, troubleshoot system and job interrupts, PBS Pro, container solutions, RHEL, HPCM, Mellanox, DDNstorage and ExaScaler, Lustre.
- Maintain security posture to keep systems on the customer network, plan for and execute system upgrades, general system administration for large HPC cluster, respond to customer requests, provide 7x24x4 coverage and response. Daily tasks include HW maintenance, inventory counts, support case open and closure in SFDC; and ongoing Linux training and development.
