You will assemble and inspect product to ensure the highest quality product is provided to our customers. You will be responsible for your work area to ensure the safe and efficient operation of the area. You will set up and monitor the production of product in your area and participate in the continuous improvement process at the site to address safety, production and quality improvements.RESPONSIBILITIES:

Set-up and operates multiple CNC machines within the Tool Room.

Works from drawing/design/engineer instructions and drawings to produce the required article. To complete and record information within the required paperwork.

Draws and programs for the Wire EDM machines using Esprit Cad/Cam Software.

Set-up and operates manual mill, engine lathe and Tooling Lathe.

Plans and schedules daily / weekly work within the Tool Room to meet the building’s / production cell’s needs.

Works closely with Engineering on design and planning of Tooling and spot operations.

Flexes between working OEM Tooling / production and R&O support.

Demonstrates the 8 Honeywell Behaviors on a daily basis.

Follows all HS&E safety Guidelines and procedures.

High School Diploma

2+ years machining manufacturing experience

All applicants for placement in DOT/FAA safety-sensitive positions will be required to submit to a pre-employment drug test, testing for Marijuana, Cocaine, Amphetamines (amphetamine, methamphetamine, MDMA, MDA), Phencyclidine (PCP), and Opioids (codeine, heroin, morphine, oxycodone, oxymorphone, hydrocodone, hydromorphone). The DOT/FAA regulations require all employees, regular and temporary, in safety-sensitive positions, to be included in the Honeywell Anti-drug and Alcohol Misuse Prevention Plan.WE VALUE

Ability to set up and machine a variety of parts

Machine Shop Technology program completion or certification

Knowledge and understanding of engineering drawings and the use of GD&T dimensioning.

Working knowledge of basic inspection tools with the capability of inspecting parts prior to final QA

Capable of understanding “g” codes, and making minor program edits at the machine

Good writing and verbal communication skills, including basic computer knowledge.

Lifting is generally at or below 30Lbs. without significant repetitions. Moderate exposure to machinery, chemical, and physical risks is anticipated.
