Joyful Jobs is recruiting a Manager of Operations and Programs on behalf of Tucson Interfaith HIV/AIDS Network.Job Summary:  The Manager of Operations and Programs is responsible for TIHAN’s staff and day to day operations and programs.  This role will help TIHAN in the execution of its mission and vision, while upholding the organization’s values.  The Manager is responsible for building a strong team, fostering a dynamic organizational culture, and strengthening our operations, programs, and impact in our community.  An ability to recruit, retain and support volunteers is critical. This position reports to the Executive Director.Job Impact:  Providing outstanding, sensitive care to Tucson’s HIV/AIDS community is the core of TIHAN’s existence. This position ensures the management of the office and the availability of key agency programs by directing staff and training, assigning, and motivating volunteers to carry out the programs and services of the organization.Qualifications:Bachelor’s degree (minimum), preferably in social work, public health, organizational management, or related fieldExperience managing people and projects in the nonprofit sectorMust enjoy working with people; tactful and good at problem solvingResilient, resourceful, and creativeAbility to work independently and delegate effectivelyExcellent organization and communication skillsMicrosoft Office competency, and database management experienceHave reliable transportation to attend off-site meetings and events and occasionally transport items to those eventsAbility to lift and move boxes and bins weighing up to 50 pounds within the TIHAN office and events, as well as to and from vehicles or storage areasBilingual (English/Spanish), preferredDuties and Responsibilities:  Day-to-day management of agency operations, programs and services.     Hiring, training, supervision, evaluation and support of agency staff.Build and retain a cohesive, positive, relationship-driven work environment.Take part in volunteer recruitment, onboarding, retention, and support.Support the Executive Director in areas such as strategic planning, fundraising, building donor relationships, and identifying grant opportunities.Together with the Executive Director, research and evaluate evolving client and community needs and adjust programs and services as needed.Work with the Executive Director, the HR committee and Board to establish policies that ensure workplace productivity and reasonable staff workloads.Ex Officio (non-voting member) of the Human Resources and Program committees.Other duties as assigned.Hours and Benefits:
