Most of your patients are funneled in from other units providing you with the opportunity to build on your education and experience in specialized service lines such as cardiac, telemetry, orthopedics, neurology, critical care, surgical services, and emergency.Your success in this role comes from your enthusiasm to help others - with a patient-first mindset. Track routine heart rate blood pressure and pulse ox levels

Quickly report and address any changes in condition

Patiently and thoroughly explain tests results and procedures to patients and family members

Educate patients on post-hospital care including prescribed medicine care maintenance and prevention

QualificationsMinimum:

Associate degree of Nursing or foreign equivalent.

9 months RN experience.

Valid compact state or Arizona RN license.

American Heart Association Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support.

American Heart Association Basic Life Support for the healthcare provider.

Demonstrates competency in basic EKG skills by passing EKG test or successfully completing basic EKG class/modules within six months of position.

Preferred:

Bachelors degree of Nursing or foreign equivalent.

One year of pediatric RN experience.

American Heart Association Advanced Pediatric Life Support
