The Mid Software Engineer in Test is responsible to design, develop, and maintain automation systems and tools to be used by development and test engineers.

This is a full-time position, based out of Scottsdale, AZ/Remote.

Share Your Expertise

Experience, education, and qualifications essential for success in this role, include:

• Maintain knowledge of product features, capabilities, and end-user workflows.
• Apply test case design techniques in the development of automated test cases to verify correct product operation within user workflows
• Apply techniques and tools for identifying, collecting, analyzing, and reporting product quality data.
• Work with other automation team members on automation development tasks using good software engineering practices.
• Work with other automation team members to provide Quality Assurance support to software development teams within the Product and Enterprise Operations team.

• Apply industry standard automated test tools and technologies, including Cloud-based Automation Test Frameworks, Selenium Web Driver, NUnit, BrowserStack/SauceLabs, IRA/Confluence/BitBucket, Postman/Fiddler.

• Work with industry standard methodologies such as Behavior Driven Design (BDD).
• Participate in various scrum meetings to provide input on functional requirements.
• Defect and issue identification, logging, tracking, reporting and timely verification of resolved items.
• Other duties as required.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or 4 years of related experience; or an advanced degree without experience.
• Experience coding in languages such as C#/.Net, and/or Java.
• Experience designing, writing, and executing automated or manual test cases.
• Experience with automated testing tools, such as Cypress and Selenium Web driver.
• Understanding of cloud-based web technology.

• Proficient in Atlassian products, such as JIRA, Confluence, and BitBucket.

• Excellent communication, coding, and analytical problem-solving skills.
• Self-motivated and self-managing, able to proactively identify work, handle tasks, and complete work without supervision.
• Knowledge with Agile methodologies and Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
