Description We are in search of an Operations Specialist for an exciting opportunity in the industry located in Avondale, Arizona, 85323, United States. In this role, you will be tasked with collecting and recording information in a systematic manner. You will be collaborating closely with a team and commuting to designated sites daily.Responsibilities:
Use a provided iPad to collect and record observations about sidewalk conditions.
Complete specific forms and utilize tap options to document issues such as broken concrete or other irregularities.
Maintain consistency in observations to minimize variability throughout the examination process.
Collaborate with a partner to ensure both sides of the road are covered, working as a team and coordinating breaks or lunches together.
Travel daily to designated project sites to conduct assessments.
Participate in a half-day training session, either on-site at our office or near the designated area.
This position offers a short-term contract employment opportunity.Requirements
Reliability: This is the most critical requirement. Consistency in data collection is key, as switching personnel mid-project could impact the quality of results.
Detail-Oriented: Ability to observe and document subtle differences in sidewalk conditions.
Teamwork Skills: Willingness to work cooperatively with a partner and maintain effective communication.
Technology Proficiency: Familiarity with using an iPad or similar devices for data entry.
Construction/Field Experience: Background as a technician or in construction-related work is preferred.
Transportation: Ability to commute to the designated project site daily.
Comfortable walking for extended periods while performing field observations.
