Pallet Assemblers - Wanted

Moran Pallets & Wood Products is seeking a new pallet assembler for our New Pallet Manufacturing Facility. This person will specialize in building new, custom sized pallets for the Southwestern United States. This person will report directly to the New Pallet Production Manager. This job is located outside under shaded canopy. The workday features a paid 30-minute lunch.

Responsibilities:

- Assemble new wood pallets for from processed wood

- Follow all safety standards and safety regulations

- Maintain a clean and organized work area

- Perform quality analysis of all manufactured parts to ensure they are viable for assembly

- Utilize pneumatic nail guns

- Operate various pallet nailing equipment

- Follow all instructions from pallet production manager to ensure all deliverables are met

- Inspect finished products to ensure they meet quality standards

- Troubleshoot and resolve assembly issues as they arise

- Collaborate with team members to improve assembly processes

Requirements:

- Previous experience in construction or wood pallet production is preferred, but not required

- Familiarity with power tools and hand tools

- Ability to operate a forklift is a plus

- Fluent in Spanish and English is a plus

- Attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately

- Good communication skills and ability to work well in a team environment

- Ability to lift 30 pounds

- Highschool diploma or GED equivalent
