The Paramedic Skills Instructor delivers hands-on skills laboratory and simulation instruction within the Paramedic Program, ensuring alignment with the approved curriculum, National EMS Education Standards, and accreditation requirements. Working under the direction of the Program Director, this role supports the development, evaluation, and remediation of student psychomotor competencies while maintaining instructional quality, compliance, and a safe learning environment that promotes clinical readiness and professional growth.This is a Per-diem position.Deliver and facilitate psychomotor skills laboratories, simulation scenarios, and hands-on practice sessions in alignment with the approved curriculum and National EMS Education Standards.Demonstrate and instruct proper techniques for paramedic skills, including patient assessment, airway management, vascular access, medication administration, cardiology, trauma care, and other advanced life support procedures.Evaluate student performance using approved competency checklists and assessment tools, verifying psychomotor skill proficiency and documenting completion accurately and timely.Provide immediate, constructive feedback and coaching to promote safe practice, technical proficiency, and critical thinking.Assist with the setup, facilitation, and debriefing of simulation-based learning activities, reinforcing clinical decision-making, teamwork, and professional communication.Support student remediation efforts for those not meeting competency standards and foster development in a structured learning environment.Ensure the safe setup, use, maintenance, and storage of training equipment and simulation resources in compliance with institutional policies, OSHA standards, and infection control practices.Maintain accurate records and adhere to all program, accreditation (CAAHEP/CoAEMSP), and regulatory requirements related to skills instruction and documentation.Collaborate with the Program Director, Lead Instructor, and faculty to ensure instructional consistency and program quality.Model professionalism, ethical conduct, and effective communication at all times while performing instructional duties under the direction of the Program Director.Pay: $25.00 per hour
