Description We are seeking a Medical Billing Specialist to join our team, on a PT basis in Tucson, Arizona. This role falls within the healthcare industry and is a key part of our records management function. The role offers a short-term contract employment opportunity, which involves the use of a range of specialized software and skills to manage customer accounts and inquiries.Responsibilities: Billing within behavioral health experience Managing and overseeing accounts receivable (AR) to ensure timely payments and accurate record-keeping. Handling appeals and claim administration, ensuring all customer inquiries and disputes are resolved promptly and satisfactorily. Performing billing functions and benefit functions, ensuring all customer accounts are up-to-date and all benefits are properly accounted for.
