Description We are seeking a Patient Care Coordinator to join our healthcare team in Phoenix, Arizona. The Patient Care Coordinator is centered around handling patient registrations, verifying insurance eligibility, and maintaining accurate patient records. The Patient Care Coordinator is an onsite contract-to-hire opportunity!Responsibilities: Register and pre-register patients in a timely and accurate manner Verify insurance eligibility, benefits, and authorizations to ensure a seamless healthcare experience for patients Maintain and update patient demographics in the system to aid in patient identification and communication Collect co-payments, co-insurance, and deductibles from patients to ensure that financial responsibilities are met Provide excellent customer service to patients by answering their inquiries and resolving any issues they may have Ensure the smooth functioning of the department by performing various secretarial support duties Handle confidential patient information professionally and by healthcare regulations Schedule appointments for patients and manage their medical records Utilize Microsoft Excel and other computer skills to perform administrative tasks Communicate effectively with all stakeholders including patients, healthcare providers, and insurance companiesRequirements
