Description We are offering a contract to hire employment opportunity for a Payroll Clerk in Mesa, Arizona. The selected candidate will be part of a team handling payroll for a large number of employees across multiple states. This role is within the financial services industry and will require proficiency in various accounting software systems. Responsibilities: Managing payroll operations for over 1000 employees across multiple states on a biweekly basis Utilizing accounting software systems like ADP Workforce Now, Ceridian, Dayforce, and About Time for efficient payroll processing Assisting the payroll specialist in various tasks to ensure smooth payroll operations Maintaining accurate employee payroll records and ensuring the confidentiality of this data Handling accounts payable and other accounting functions as needed Regularly auditing payroll data for accuracy and making necessary corrections Addressing employee inquiries regarding payroll issues and resolving them promptly Assisting in benefit functions related to payroll Ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations and standards in payroll processing Regularly updating job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities and reading professional publications.
