We are seeking a Pega Lead System Architect to join a industry leader in recycling and non-hazardous solid waste in the U.S. This is a contract to hire, remote position. In this role, you will design and develop enterprise-level Pega applications for the company. In this role, you will be responsible for the deployment of large-scale Pega projects. This may involve developing BPM applications, integrating web services, designing data models and frameworks, and collating business analysis requirements. To ensure success as a Senior Pega Developer, you should have advanced knowledge of Pega Class Hierarchy and experience with Java-based applications. A top-level Pega developer understands the needs of the company and designs scalable applications to improve process management.
What You Will Do:- Designs and develops Pega BPM reusable, scalable components, and applications as per the design standards.
- Defines and implements PEGA best practices, integrates with streaming and event driven architectures
- Performs solution architecture within the Pega PRPC environment.
- Designs class structures, application frameworks, test suite and data models.
- Coordinates with the scrum team, Enterprise Architects, and the product owner to ensure the architecture matches the needs of the customer.
- Bachelor’s degree in Software Engineering or Computer Science or equivalent experience
- 3-4 years of proven work experience within the Pega Platform.
- Advanced knowledge of Pega PRPC.
- Excellent knowledge in Java, REST, apis and related technologies.
- Excellent knowledge with Scrum and Agile methodology.
- Knowledge of programming languages including Angular.
- Knowledge of web technologies including JavaScript, CSS, HTML5.
- Ability to troubleshoot complex software issues
