NOW HIRING: Full-Time Accountant/Bookeeper – Join one of the most successful independent Real Estate Companies in Phoenix with a small Construction Renovation Team that helps its client buy and sell homes.

CANAM Realty and Foothills Renovations are on the lookout for a seasoned, self-sufficient Accountant who knows QuickBooks inside and out and is ready to take ownership of the accounting function for two small established companies.

If you’re someone who’s been there, done that, and is tired of micromanagement and endless training wheels—this is the role for you. We’re looking for someone who’s confident, experienced, and thrives in a hands-on, independent role.

This is a full-time, in-office position based in Ahwatukee (East Valley). Sorry, remote workers—this one’s not for you.

What You’ll Be Doing:

You’ll be the go-to person for day-to-day accounting operations for our real estate brokerage and construction company. We don’t have a massive payroll or complicated receivables—just real work that needs a real pro.

Managing all payables and job costing

Processing monthly financial reports in QuickBooks

Handling payroll through ADP

Making bank deposits and performing reconciliations

Maintaining accurate electronic records

Collaborating with ownership and CPA for year-end close

Taking full ownership of our accounting process from A to Z

What We’re Looking For:

✅ 5+ years of accounting experience, ideally in construction or real estate

✅ Deep knowledge of QuickBooks—this is non-negotiable

✅ Understanding of GAAP and job costing

✅ Experience with payroll, preferably through ADP

✅ Ability to work independently without constant supervision

✅ Strong organizational skills, keen attention to detail, and willing to take on new responsibilities

✅ Solid judgment, initiative, and problem-solving ability
