Description We are in search of a Phoenix Transactional Real Estate Finance Attorney (Partner / Of Counsel) to join our National Law Firm client's office located in Phoenix, Arizona. The desired candidate will have a background in real estate finance and will be tasked with various responsibilities related to the finance transactions of real estate. 7+ years of experience - they are looking to fill a partner / Of Counsel level role.Responsibilities: Represent clients in real estate finance transactions Manage and conduct due diligence Utilize expertise in construction loans, homebuilder acquisition, development and vertical construction loans, financed ground leases, bridge and mezzanine loans, syndications, forbearance arrangements and deed-in-lieu transactions Draft, negotiate and manage the drafting and negotiation of loan documents Use the firm’s national platform and the provided exceptional tools to develop new business opportunities Deliver value to clients based on our core principles Provide advice to lenders at all stages of financing transactions, from term sheet negotiations and documentation to closing and ongoing advice over the life of the loanRequirements Must have a minimum of 7 years of experience in Real Estate Finance. Proficiency in the use of software and computer skills Experience in Real Estate Finance is mandatory. Candidates must be able to demonstrate an ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines. Excellent written and verbal communication skills are necessary. Must have the ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills are required. Must have a law degree from an accredited law school and be admitted to and in good standing with the relevant legal authority. Knowledge of local, state, and federal real estate laws and regulations is required. Experience in negotiating and drafting complex real estate transactions is preferred. Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build relationships with clients and team members are necessary.
