Location: Tucson, AZ Description: Our client is currently seeking a Principal Software Engineer. The ideal candidate should have experience with the following:
- Design, develop, and integrate software for engineering and production test stations.
- Develop applications, libraries, and instrument drivers.
- Provide leadership and contribute to multidiscipline engineering teams.
- Contribute to the completion of all stages of test product development of test products.
- Assist in technical, cost, and schedule management or their assigned test product.
Required Skill Sets:o Ability to obtain a DoD issued Secret security clearanceo Extensive professional experience with object-oriented development, C# or C preferredo Extensive professional experience with configuration management toolso Professional experience using model-based design and Unified Modeling Language (UML)o Extensive professional experience working in a team environmento Strong written and interpersonal communication skillso Experience prioritizing and handling multiple taskso Minimum of eight (8) years of professional experience utilizing integrated development environments and debugging tools to troubleshoot software products, demonstrating applied knowledge of advanced principles, theories, and conceptso Extensive professional experience developing requirements for software productso Experience with laboratory test equipment including, but not limited to power supplies, oscilloscopes, and digital multimetersDesired Skill Sets:o Experience with Microsoft DevOps Servero Professional experience of computer architecture and hardware optimization techniqueso Professional experience using laboratory test equipment including, but not limited to power supplies, oscilloscopes, and digital multimeterso Extensive experience using model-based design and Unified Modeling Language (UML)o Extensive Professional experience controlling test equipment in an automated environmento Professional experience in common computer hardware interface and data protocols such as TCP/IP, UDP, and RS-422o Experience with Microsoft Azure DevOpsContact: dwalsh@judge.comThis job and many more are available through The Judge Group.
