For more information, please visit healthcaresolutions-us.fujifilm.com .Job Purpose -The Principal Enterprise Synapse Database and Escalation Engineer is responsible for developing and guiding the Technical Assistance Center (TAC) database group adhering to a philosophy of cross training and continuous skillset enhancement. This role owns the escalation process from the Technical Assistance Center through to Development. Additionally, this role owns the transition to support process for the EIS product for Implementations and Projects. Understands how all Synapse databases are similar and differ from the others.
Develops new or improves on the existing cross training methodology from the database perspective.
Works to identify more efficient ways for the TAC team to support the Synapse Product line from a database perspective.
Owns the escalation process from the Technical Assistance Center through to Development.
Works directly with all internal FUJI teams to streamline the escalation process.
Serves highest level escalation point for all Synapse Applications
Work with TAC management team seamlessly to understand challenges that our customers and engineers face and help develop TAC processes to enhance the support experience both internally and externally.
Occasionally participates in customer site visits, as necessary.
Learns and remains compliant with all regulatory and quality requirements.
Maintains an expert working knowledge of current medical imaging products and related technologies by staying abreast with the latest industry / technology advances through continuous education.
Potential short notice and / or overnight travel, as required, to work on customer systems.
Working outside of normal business hours, overtime and holidays may be required based on the needs of the business.
Adheres to the Company's quality and regulatory compliance requirements, without exception, and ensures that all job duties inherent in the position description are performed in accordance with established policies and procedures.
Complies with all applicable U.S. Food and Drug Administration (U.S. FDA) medical device regulatory requirements, applicable ISO 13485 standard requirements and all other applicable laws, regulations and standards.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s Degree, Trade School Certification (Industry related), or comparable education and work experience.
Minimum of 10 years of industry related professional experience.
Advanced DBA level knowledge of all current Synapse Applications
Advanced knowledge of clinical data transfer protocols and interfaces (HL7 and DICOM)
Advanced working knowledge of current Synapse Applications
Advanced knowledge of Synapse workflows and their implementations.
Advanced knowledge in Synapse application front end
Advanced knowledge of medical informatics architecture (VMware and Storage Solutions)
Ability to achieve results and meet goals in a fast-paced, team environment.
Superior communication and interpersonal skills, excellent phone manner.
Ability to make independent decisions based on interpretation of technology data and product knowledge.
Excellent organizational and multi-tasking skills.
