  • A strong understanding of Azure Architecture and engineering is a definite requirement additional cloud solutions is a plus.
  • This individual will be responsible for devising, configuring, operating, and maintaining both computer systems.
  • -Define and decide on the strategy and approach that will best support long-term business plans and goals.
  • -Manage all technologies within Active Directory and Domain Structure both on prem and including Azure Active Directory
  • -Experience with Domain Consolidation, DNS Settings etc.
  • ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS Key Job Responsibilities: • Conceptualize, design and deliver solutions as per defined scope and standards. • Gather require, deliver design and implementation • Leverage cloud native or 3rd party tools to automate cloud service provisioning, monitoring and reporting. • Reviews on the architecture and design deliverables and support as an SME. • Identify alternatives when needed, pros and cons, and make recommendations. • Build public and hybrid cloud-based, optimized reference architecture and applications • Develop service catalog and best practices • Identify, analyze and resolve complex public and hybrid cloud-based issues. • Manage multiple initiatives independently. • Communicates design and solutions to peers and other IT teams • Performs network modeling, analysis, and planning. • Researches software, hardware and system products and technologies to provide recommendations and support purchasing efforts. • Creates design documentation to present to senior leadership. • Creates documentation of procedures and processes for the ongoing operation, maintenance, and backup of equipment and systems. • Works with others to establish and improve processes and procedures. • Acts as project lead in the design and review of new systems, applications and hardware. • Has primary responsibility for projects and participates in disaster recovery exercises. • Assigns and monitors the workflow of the team. • Defines and implements strategies for integrating disparate operating environments. • Stays abreast of industry technology changes and identify how they impact the business. • Assess vendor development/test strategies. • Partners with end users, business units, and external client technical teams to meet the IT Infrastructure needs of all users. • Partners with client program managers to ensure timely delivery. • Works closely with the business partners to identify/quantify business issues associated with specific projects, develop/implement business strategy, and assist in setting strategic tech direction in support of customer facing organizations. • Acts as IT Infrastructures liaison to corporate-driven projects by addressing communication issues, concerns, questions, understanding changing requirements, changing technology, and implementing best practices. • Responsible for understanding and complying with all policies, procedures, and regulations relating to job duties. • Perform other duties as assigned by management.

    List required software, hardware & technology of the work unit: • Direct experience and proven success in Azure design, support and management within a large-scale organization. • Platforms: Microsoft Azure, Azure API Management service, Amazon Web Services, VMware • Networking: TCP/IP, FC, iSCSI, LAN, VPN, DNS, AD, SAN, F5, Azure Application Gateway • Operating Systems: Microsoft Windows Servers, Linux, Mac OS • Experience developing software and/or managing source code. PowerShell and Azure APIs, ARM template, Terraform. • Experience with Cloud Migration and Agile methodology • Experience with programming tools and platforms, and software development methodology • Experience and understanding of development life cycle (requirements, design, coding, testing, deployment and maintenance), DevOps principles • Experience in VSTS, GitHub, Puppet, Chef, PowerShell DSC, CI/CD • Experience building and deploying with Linux, and Windows technologies. • Experience and knowledge of application platforms and database platforms (Oracle, MS SQL) • Experience supporting and documenting build and configuration changes throughout environments. • Experience in the design, deployment, and support of large, complex systems.

    JOB REQUIREMENTS EDUCATION • High School Diploma or GED (Required) • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or equivalent in relevant work experience (Preferred) • Certifications: AVAYA, AWS, CCNP/CCIE (Preferred) EXPERIENCE • Seven or more years of previous experience in a technical position required.
