Project Manager

Father and Son Masonry is a growing business seeking a Construction Project Manager that can immediately add value to the organization and mesh with the dynamic, hardworking, and adaptable team that exists today. The selective Construction Project Manager will be assigned construction project activities and will supervise all field personnel including labor and subcontractors, as required to successfully complete the project on schedule and within the company's budget. This includes maintaining the highest quality of work, supervising all trades, field personnel, and administering good construction safety practices with all on-site activities. To be successful, you must be a quick learner, a quick thinker and willing to do whatever it takes to get the job done and satisfy our customers.

Responsibilities and Qualifications:

Ability to review and fully comprehend all parts of the contract documents

Organize and manage all project documents from start to completion

Ability to work well and take direction from all team members.

Review and understand basic dollar requirements

Obtain, track and maintain all required general contractors documents

Provide monthly cost sheets reflecting financial status companies projects and collect the profit and loss for each project.

Schedule and attend regular project review meetings, per the individual project review schedule.

Provide accurate tracking for project submittals

Accurately and promptly provide all necessary documents to the accounting department and provide all financial support as directed.

Provide general support and back-up for other office functions including receptionist, dispatch, HR, and phone coverage as needed.

Monitor and control the quality of the work performed in compliance with the contract requirements.

Oversee the progress of the project within the defined period.

Be present onsite early morning 5 days a week (Monday-Friday) before the job starts and stay there until the end of the work day.

Attending and representing Father and Son Masonry on site visits/meetings

Requirements:

5+ years of construction management experience in leadership position

OSHA 10 Hour or OSHA 30 Hour

Bilingual is a plus

Knowledge of Masonry and Concrete demo, compaction, renovations in both residential and commercial projects.

Knowledge of construction management theory and practice.

Must have thorough knowledge of analyzing construction documents and ability to read blueprints.

Knowledge of construction building codes and building methods.

Knowledge of PC and of construction and business software, including scheduling, estimating, spreadsheets and word processing.

Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Must have the ability to operate an automobile, have a valid state driver’s license

Must be able to pull a trailer

Excellent organizational and time management skills, ability to take initiative, use good judgment, demonstrate a strong sense of urgency and follow-up and carry multiple projects through to completion.
