Quality Assurance

Well established solar manufacturing company seeking a qualified Quality Technician to join our team. This is a 1st shift 4/10 schedule (Monday - Thursday 4:00 am - 2:00 pm). As a Quality Tech you would verify processes and manufacturing instructions to produce quality products that meet customers' requirements. This individual will execute established procedures in verifying and assuring quality processes and manufacturing standards, and will collect data analysis, and data verification.

Responsibilities:

Assist in maintaining customer drawings and specifications.

Daily inspection of material being produced. Record data and information collected from inspection in database

Perform Incoming product inspections.

Inform QA Supervisor and/or Director of Quality of any quality issues.

Completes HOLD, REWORK tags.

Ensure all finished products meet specifications.

Ability to edit all quality inspection sheets.

Qualifications:

Working knowledge of measurement techniques.

Knowledge of ISO 9001 quality system.

Must be detail oriented and have the ability to prioritize multiple tasks effectively while accurately and efficiently

Ability to read and interpret blueprints.

Ability to communicate techniques to employees.

Ability to operate Raytech.

1-3 year as a Quality Tech 1

Physical Requirements:

Ability to stand for an extended period of time.

Some minimal lifting required.

Ability to work on the computer for an extended time
