Job Description
- Performs visual and/or dimensional receiving, in-process, and/or final inspections to determine conformance to approved technical data.
- Reviews all certifications.
- Checks process documentation for completeness.
- Reviews Purchase Orders and shippers for accuracy.
- Read and understand blueprints and/or sketches.
- Maintain production standards/quality.
- Documenting travelers after operations performed
- Adhere to and promote Corporate Code of Ethical Standards.
- Ensures compliance with Company QMS, regulatory and customer quality requirements.
- Interface with production, engineering, and customer solutions as required.
- Provide inspection/quality department support to production cells.
- Assist with internal audits.
- Performs other related tasks in the facility as needed
Qualifications
- Must be able to read, interpret blueprints and equipment manuals – required.
- Ability to read, interpret and understand work in-process documents – required.
- Strong math skills
- Attention to detail
- Self-motivated with a high level of ownership and accountability
- Lean skills continually drives process improvements
- Team building skills
- Required to be fluent in English, i.e. speaking, reading, writing
- High School diploma or equivalent required.
- FAA 14CFRPart 65 repairman qualification preferred
- Certify visual acuity to standard per regulations
- Previous manufacturing industrial experience
- Eighteen (18) months experience in basic dimensional inspection on aerospace components preferred
- Experience in multiple product lines preferred
