PLANEnsure students requiring an externship or clinical fieldwork course are started within 14 days of the last day of attendance from the core courses.Maintain a plan of Key Performance Indicator (KPI) achievement practices for program directors. Promote effective use of the Learning Management System (LMS) as a tool to deliver course content.Manage the review of course syllabi for allied health curricula within the assigned region.Act as subject matter expert for assigned subject areas.Maintain meeting minutes. PROMOTE EXCELLENCE IN TEACHING       Provide mentorship to the allied health program directors and faculty to encourage the use of diverse teaching methodologies.Provide leadership for curricula, learning outcomes, and assessment activity projects.Evaluate the teaching methods and procedures for continuous quality improvement for all allied health programs; ensure instructional quality for allied health courses.Collaborate with the program director and faculty to maintain a student-centered learning assessment process for allied health courses. OVERSIGHT OF FACULTYKPI: Maintain compliance with programmatic accreditor licensure and professional certification standards (as applicable based on the program)Coach program directors to understand teaching assignments, management practices, and instructor evaluation requirements for the course and annual reviews. Manage a quarterly teacher observation schedule. Organize and run program director meetings, regionally. Annually, deliver at least four 60-minute teacher training sessions for any of the following topics: higher education policy and procedures, higher education leadership, or higher education management of higher education managers.Identify and resolve student grievance appeals within established policies and procedures.Mediate complex and sensitive student and academic personnel issues.BUDGETParticipate in allied health program(s) fiscal budget preparation and capital expenditures involving staffing, curriculum, and equipment.COMPLIANCE Maintain Standards of Accreditation (institutional and programmatic)Monitor compliance with college policies and procedures. Prepare data and other written materials for all required state and programmatic accreditation standards (reports, proposals, self-studies, surveys, and site visit reports).Conduct periodic data-driven evaluations of academic programs and clinical site affiliation agreements for programs that require an externship course. Provide coaching to program directors and faculty to ensure that institutional processes, course content, and instructional delivery are sufficient to accomplish student learning outcomes.PROGRAM ADVISORY KPI: Maintain an annual program advisory committee meeting schedule to satisfy institutional or programmatic standards of accreditation. Manage the academic representation or constituencies standards of the Program Advisory Committee(s).Oversee compliance with meeting minute preparation. STRATEGIC INITIATIVES AND PROJECTSMeasure KPI outcomes assigned to program directors on a quarterly basis or more often as directed. Participate in strategic rollout initiatives regarding instructional technology and curriculum improvement.Use data-driven decision-making strategies to evaluate student outcome metrics and improve satisfactory academic progress.Collect and analyze student enrollment and retention data and provide regular reports. STUDENT RETENTION STRATEGIESPartner with student services staff to maintain open communication regarding student retention strategies and plans.Manage communication processes to identify and respond to at-risk students.Manage regional student retention initiatives; follow up on local retention plans as needed. Participate with all college managers to maintain an inclusive college environment to celebrate and promote understanding and respect for a diverse student body, academic staff, and community.Manage the student re-entry process. ORIENTATION AND MENTORSHIPParticipate in the recruitment, evaluation, and in-service training of new program directors and instructors. Deliver and evaluate instructor onboarding and instructor retention plans.Train program directors to facilitate program advisory committee meetings. Demonstrate sensitivity and understanding of all college students and faculty with diverse academic, socioeconomic, cultural, disability, and ethnic backgrounds.Identify gaps in knowledge and job performance of program directors and faculty and provide coaching, counseling, and corrections.
