The Bar is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Remote Event Coordinator to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for event planning, strong communication skills, and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously. This role involves overseeing the coordination of virtual and in-person events, managing logistics, liaising with vendors and clients, and ensuring smooth event execution from start to finish—all from the comfort of your remote workspace.
Key Responsibilities:
Plan and coordinate events (virtual) from conception through execution.
Manage event logistics, including scheduling, budget tracking, and vendor management.
Communicate regularly with clients to gather event requirements and provide updates.
Liaise with vendors and suppliers to secure services and products for events.
Create and maintain detailed event timelines, ensuring all deadlines are met.
Handle event promotion, registration, and follow-up communications with attendees.
Troubleshoot and resolve any issues that arise during the planning and execution stages.
Ensure a high standard of customer service before, during, and after events.
Track event success through feedback and report on event metrics post-completion.
Qualifications:
Previous experience in event planning or coordination (virtual or in-person events).
Exceptional organizational and time management skills.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects at once.
Proficiency in event management software (e.g., Zoom, Eventbrite, Google Workspace).
A proactive approach to problem-solving and attention to detail.
Ability to work flexible hours as required by event schedules.
Knowledge of remote work tools and collaboration platforms.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience coordinating remote/virtual events.
Familiarity with marketing and social media promotion for events.
